I was a regular even before the pandemic. The location is a very small but pleasant restaurant with excellent dishes. At first glance, the menu may seem limited, but you will be amazed. The ingredients, the flavors, all fresh and authentically Ethiopian. Tonight I had a take away meal. I quickly took the mixed vegetarian platter home with me and, as in the old days, had a delicious meal. One of Ingolstadt's few hidden treasures. i will be back soon!

The food is just delicious. Even as a vegan / vegetarian you can find a lot of good things here. Prices perfectly okay. I will order again! My tip: Atht. No one can pronounce it but it tastes all the more 😂😂

We liked it. Small restaurant with few tables, right in the city, in a side street. Friendly service, prices okay. We had a large plate with specialties (with meat, vegetables, bread) from Ethiopia for two. There was coffee with freshly roasted beans. I recommend it to others.

Very great food from Ethiopia! Small sweet bistro with friendly and focused staff. The food is fresh and tastes amazing! If you like being in a good place with great atmosphere and hot food for cold days you need to come here.

International life in a small café. The new design throws a very Ethiopian light on the ambience. The renovation was worth it. The expresso came very quickly.

A cozy, sympathetic and friendly Ethiopian restaurant, run by the owner. A rounded, stylish dining room with 8 tables and an adjoining, open kitchen. I really appreciated the personal and informative contact with the cook / owner and was happy about the recommendation. Authentic clear menu, which despite everything does not make the choice of food easy, as everything is very tasty. There are starters, vegan dishes and dishes with meat side dishes. "Eating by hand" is also planned. Hygiene measures during Covid-19 times are taken seriously. It is best to reserve. In terms of price, the food is really cheap for this quality that is offered. I paid 20 euros per person for a starter and main course with a drink. In any case, I'll be back to try again. Thanks for the hospitality and the fantastic cuisine.

We ate very tasty at Lalibela and can absolutely recommend this small restaurant. The service was nice and courteous, the dishes authentic and well prepared. The shop is something different and a culinary enrichment.

Was here for the first time, finally a bit of variety in the city center. You often get the feeling that all the new restaurateurs in the city center are just copying the old ones and nothing new and creative is coming. As far as I know, this is the first restaurant of its kind in Ingolstadt, so great idea. My dish was spicy chicken with onion sauce and egg. Well seasoned, you could choose between mild and hot seasoning. Spicy means really spicy, the dish was very good and reasonably priced. The portion sizes are okay, but are sometimes a bit small. What I think is positive is that you can watch the cooking right away. The staff is very friendly, but I could imagine that more space will soon be needed to accommodate the guests. If the portions were a bit bigger, I would give it 5 stars. If you are really hungry, you would have to order something extra. Otherwise very positive impression.

From our point of view, a visit here is highly recommended, the inn is really easy to get to! The convenient transport links make a visit possible quickly. The staff is straightforward, clean and friendly. The portions are in a good and filling dimension.

A bit disappointing. Compared to other Ethiopian restaurants I have been to so far, the choice is not great. I ordered mild and got it hot. Of the promised 2 flat cakes, only one was there. Since I didn't really like the dish in general, I didn't order a second one. A lot of employees walk around, almost none of them are attentive, which shouldn't be difficult given the size of the room

Great host. We were warmly welcomed. A small great place. You can really feel good. For dinner we ordered two mixed plates (vegetarian and meat), which we didn't have to wait long for. What can I say .... Even the kids loved it .... The food was so incredibly good. It was our first trip to Ethiopian cuisine ... and definitely not our last. If you are in Ingolstadt, you should visit the small restaurant and eat here.

The food was super delicious, nicely arranged and really tasty, especially when it comes to the use of spices. We were greeted warmly and courteously served. Really great price. Looking forward to my next visit :-)

We were lovingly cooked in a cozy atmosphere. Two starters and two main courses tasted very delicious. It was well spicy and partly with a pleasant, mild sharpness. The black tea was delicious and can also be bought in bulk.

Very nice staff and very pleasant atmosphere. The food was great too, but you have to keep in mind that "hot" is really hot. For me it is too hot and I'll take it mildly next time.

Delicious coffee and nice service

I really liked the place. Intimate, I think is a family business. The food is good, plenty vegan choices. If you're not sure what to take, there is a mixed plate. The prices are small. Totally worth visiting it.

This place is cozy, small and the food is great. Be aware that the food comes in small portions and you might want to take appetizer or dessert of you are very hungry. The portions are small but the prices are also small so this makes it a good choice if you are not very hungry.

A place with a delicious food with a good serving. The restaurant itself is small hence it could feel crowded if all the tables have been occupied. Other than that I'd recommend anyone who likes to try different cuisines to give this one a visit. I hope they will find a bigger spot to move the business so that more people can enjoy. Is nice

The food is really well made... I particularly like the spinach and red lentils... The prices are very good and the food is prepared very fresh...

I found the bid extremely appealing. The armchairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the seats very reasonable. There you don't get the slightest feeling of having dinner like cucumbers in a can. Something I can really recommend is the desserts. Grandpa, Grandma and I were there for the second time and tried a tick something new with every visit. Not only the attentive staff was the absolute hit when I visited, but also the good climate.

Superb food

I really recommend you to visit this restaurant. Fresh , tasty food takes longer time to serve. But worthy worth. Can't wait for the next time.

Food was delicious 5 stars Service was ok .. Long waits, little personal for many guests. Beer glass was not clean :( See picture attached. There is little space in the restaurant.

Small and very fine bistro with Ethiopian dishes and coffees. I would rate the price level as absolutely average for Ingolstadt and this quality. Moreover, a very nice change from the other relatively standard offer in Ingolstadt.

Every bite was delightful! The mix of complex flavors is out of the world! This little family-run business is worth a visit! I totally recommend to go for the mixed platter which gives you the chance to taste many dishes from the menu! The chickpea stew was also delicious! And the starter with kale and cream cheese deserves also 5 stars!!
